All About Us
We are a privately owned day nursery situated minutes away from Sandy mainline station and are registered to care for children ranging from 3 months to 12 years in the After School Club & Holiday Club.
At Mini Explorers we aim to help all children in our care to develop in a happy and stimulating environment. We realise that children pass through Mini Explorers just once so, whilst they are here with us, we strive to help each and every child reach their full potential and, at the same time, have lots of fun with the opportunity to learn new things every day in secure and comfortable surroundings. Our nursery is a home away from home.
We work closely with the local community and use the facilities in the town to help our children 'explore' the world and their surroundings. Regular trips to the market, the library, the supermarket and shops, and to the nearby woods and parkland all help to stimulate interest, develop confidence and give the children in our care a better understanding of the community of which they are a part.
Here at Mini Explorers we value outdoor play. Our garden is an extension of the nursery rooms and children are encouraged to spend time outside in the fresh air at all times of the year.
We passionately believe that with the help, encouragement, and motivation of our experienced staff and with the support and participation of our parents, the children in our care will be ready to enter school with confidence and enthusiasm and fully prepared for their school years.
